Meet the Owners
Nick DeGiulio
Founder & Co-Owner
Junk Remedy was founded by Nick DeGiulio in 2009. A graduate from Barrington High School and student at the University of Montana, Nick has over 20 years of experience in junk removal in Chicagoland as well as Denver. Proudly operating out of Lake Zurich, Junk Remedy employs a reliable team that covers a 50-mile radius of Chicago. Junk Remedy is licensed, bonded, and insured, gives FREE estimates, and handles all loading, labor, cleanup and disposal fees.
DeGiulio also brings an environmental and social consciousness to his business – always considering recycling or donating local before the dump, with continuous contributions to organizations such as W.I.N.G.S., Lake County Responds for Veterans, Home of the Sparrow’s, Sparrow’s Nest, Merryville Children’s Academy, House of Hope, and many more. Junk Remedy is proud to be no only a business, but an active participant in the community, donating time and efforts to such causes as American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, Arlington Heights Salute 5K Run, the Girl Scouts, and local Schools. Nick, his wife (Lauren), and their three children live in Kildeer.
Dan DeGiulio

Junk Remedy has opened a second location in Nashville, Tennessee operating within a 50-mile Radius. The owner Dan DeGiulio, is a graduate from Western Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in small business management and entrepreneurship. Dan has been working with Junk Remedy for over 4 years in the Chicagoland area and through the guidance and teaching of Nick DeGiulio. Junk Remedy decided to open another location with the common goal of providing the best junk removal services in Tennessee.
